Then take it up with Babs. Stop with the endless arguing about a (frank)ing backup. Same arguments every day. Get help. |

Didnt realise you were a professional goalie coach. You should call Steve Briere and let him know it doesnt work. |

He complained when the Leafs traded down at the draft. Still got Sandin and picked up a promising centre with the extra pick (SDA). - Steven_Seagull
He hates the Leafs, not the Fan. |

Plus, the man has a perfect record of being wrong, but he argues like he's the only one who knows what's going on. |

Anyone else have a freelance onion cutter at their workplace today? Here I am trying to watch the video about the Humboldt player who got his PTSD service dog (WHO GIVES MOTHER(frank)ING HUGS) and the bastard won't stop cutting. |

what are you going to do..Jays were in a tough spot...not many options - senstroll
Wait? Then trade him after it was resolved. Still wouldn't get full value, but better than what they got. |

It was resolved today. So, they couldn't really wait, they would have to hold on to him well past the trade deadlines, and keep him until the off-season.
Considering he was re-instated in early August, they had to trade him when they did. Otherwise, he would sit on the bench every game to a chorus of boo's here..
They had to trade him when they did, and I am glad they did. |

the Jays obviously decided he was not going to pitch for them again. they got what they could and moved on. not much else to say or complain about.

Age is an issue because he has no future with the team. At least Pickard would be serviceable for many more seasons. - Unholy_Goalie
Not if he can't outplay Mac, they still need to have a good season now and put together the best team possible. If they lose Pickard over waivers then they'll just have to find a new backup, it's part of managing a team. |

The good news about Froese on waivers is that Howard doesn't have to kill someone after all. |
