TSN does a much better job then Sportsnet. I remember the U.S. cable contract s beginnings. USA Network, then Sportschannel, then ESPN and now NBCSN advanced the narrative. It was crud, in the early days and once ESPN got involved it started to grow. Then they became political and NBCSN took over.
TSN having the national cable network contract actually did a fantastic job and their commentators were first rate. Then comes Rogers and their big bucks and the next thing you know, Joe Bowen is out and we get dueling sub-par commentators. Just B.S. Hockey Night in Canada was also gutted by Sportsnet/Rogers. Too bad that we have another 9 years or so of this sub-par performance.

For sure! It’s been tough watching the Leafs rebuild go so much better than ours but it does finally feel like there’s some depth in Buffalo and a bit more talent on lines 2-4. Leafs are loaded tho, you guys should be stoked. |
