bo has been open a lot but they seem to be forcing saucer passes to the point a lot. i have also been waiting for petterson to be aggressive with the puck, he has a lazer shot and so far the teams havent been respecting it and making passing lanes more difficult. i am sure he will in the regular season but im impatient - johnnykarate
Yup, I agree. The problem is that Bo is usually parked at the side of the net trying to get open for EP and Sven is in the slot so EP taking a wrist shot on an unscreened goalie probably isn't the PP shot they're looking for so I don't blame the kid for not shooting more. I would like to see him try a few more one timers though.
It's still early though, there's some rust and lack of early chemistry that should improve over the course of the season. We all knew the PP would be a work in progress with the Sedins gone. |

I'm willing to hold off on judgment on the PP for now. This unit has never worked together on the PP. We saw some flashes of brilliance but they need someone better on the point. Hutton's passing to the feet or to the wrong side of the tape was bad.
As they adjust, this PP looks pretty dangerous. Who is our second unit PP? |

But I am not complaining about Gudbrandson at all. In fact I said Canucks need his toughness and checking. Making one comment about him being overpaid is not complaining.
Gaunce is not an NHL player, Beagle Roussel and Gudbrandson are, that's the difference - VANTEL
Agree on gudbranson, agree to disagree on gaunce. |

The end of that video turns into a CFNM video. All the pornhub regs will know what that means - VANTEL

yeah itll come, i am not worried just observing. i do think hell bemore aggressive in the regular season and learn when they are cutting off the passing options to move in and draw someone or get a better shot angle. i swear in his first game he could have skated right to baertchi |

This Petterson kid is starting too really impress me, Codes, not so much.
Baertschi also looking like he may have taken a step up, he seems quicker and stronger on his feet, time will tell if this is only a brief stint, or if he has taken that next step.
Loved the Petterson to Baertschi to Horvat goal last night. - Reubenkincade
It takes a real man to call out a new man. Well done with the single testicle dropping, one moe to go and you'll be a full real man too!
Bear does look good so far. |

What is "assignment" - you mean placed on waivers for assignment? - 1970vintage
I am not quite sure what that means. That's from the Canucks media release. |

Well done, although you're not a real man until you have a one year ban from the leafs thread dropped to a one month ban by captainEO. Then your balls will hang Sutter low. |

I won't be stepping into the habs blogs anytime soon. I actually don't mind the leafs blogs, they seem civil enough, same with the flames blogs. EDM on the other hand.... yikes. Man they can be a bit sensitive over there. |

to an extent. I am probably one of gudbranson's biggest criticizers and I thought he was defensively solid last night. He did cough up the puck at the blue line, which caused a breakaway, and his constant icing of the puck is a bit tiresome, but we must give credit where credit is due, he didn't play bad last night. - Codes1087
