Ennis playing well is probably the best thing for the Leafs with regards to Nylander. He might want to hurry back?
- walshyleafsfan

Its one preseason game. I doubt it.
Nylander still has another 5-6 days buffer.

Empty netter, nice.

2 4-1 wins against Ottawa. Scoreboard matters, even in preseason, or so I once heard a wiseman say.

Yep.

I mean Nylander will get his spot back...no doubt

But Nylander has a memoery....last couple seasons he’s spent spurts on the 4th line. Don’t give Babs a reason to want to switch back to Ennis when Willie is off.

Obviously. Ennis isn't actually going to replace Nylander. Like ever.

It might make him sign a week earlier than he was going to though. Might.

Anyone else getting a little Ennis chub? He has instant chemistry with Papi.. And he's slotted on the 4th line

Might be the case. Only maybe though. You know that Mike would have no issues putting Nylander on the 4th line for the 1st 20 games.

Dubas is a God. Just picked up a 1st line winger for 650k.

I'm expecting 80-94 points from him this year

Starting 12 is going to be scary...and they'll make the current D look much better than everyone expects.

Yup.

And Willie damn well knows Babs will do that

It’s been said many times...holdouts go in the teams favour not the player. Especially in the Leafs situation where they have players who can slot into Nylanders spot and can hold their own and not be horrible.
