Sure their numbers are comparable after their first 2 full seasons. But just because Chiarelli was dumb and overpaid Draisaitl doesn't mean Dubas has to do the same. Atleast Dubas isn't stupid and acknowledges that, and is being patient about the whole thing.

I see a deal getting done within the next few days. Lets hope it's a good one.
