I think Granlund has trade value. He got squeezed out a bit from the Roussel and Beagle signings, but I think he a reasonably priced checking/PK forward for an NHL team that needs a versatile player

I would think he has the most trade value, based on previous stats, and a cap friendly contract, but I think its a tough time for teams to engage in trade talk, based off of all the cuts they need to soon make and what not

The guys on the radio this morning have a very different opinion. "Hutton was the best of the Canuck D", "other than the one bad give away that lead to a goal he played a solid game."

I was working and didn't watch, perhaps if he was playing 3rd pairing you wouldn't think he was so bad?

I've never been a Hutton fan, as most of you know, it was a mediocre showing up and until that terrible giveaway. There's guys that played better and guys that will play better tonight, IMO he starts the year off in utica or gets taken on waivers. I don't think he realizes he's fighting for a roster spot... or it doesn't seem like it anyway

Dmen are definitely more difficult to evaluate for people. It’s the most subtle position on the team so it makes sense.

But everyone’s looking at different things in a sman’s game and prioritizing those things in their own order
