+ Yams had a great outting! Both breakaways were great! The kid has plenty of speed and enough finish. Hopefully he can have a consistent showing the rest of the preseason.

+ Bouchard. Super intelligent player, I think he had only one or two bad passes, everything else was pretty bang on. No need to rush him. Let him have another year in the system

+ Benson. Great hockey IQ. Not sure where he is going to fit into the fold, but Oiler fans ought to be excited to finally have some solid depth to play up the lineup.

- Koskinen. Bad showing... but really needs more games for an accurate sample size. Let hope he shook some of the rust out. He will get some game tape to review an time with goalie coaches. He doesn’t scramble as hard as Montoya which is promising.
