I will come back and visit the forum next month. However, I don't really think it is fair for Leaf fans to be trolling a Sens thread.

You will note that during all the years of the forum none of the Sens fans crossed over to troll Leaf fans on the daily Leaf thread.

I may be reading between the lines on this but watching the player interviews. A lot of the guys don't seem upset that Karlsson is gone. Stone was full on smiling and Boro said that Karlsson chose to explore other options rather then resigning.

I kind of wonder if behind closed doors, Karlsson was the problem, not Hoffman.

out of curiousity, I've seen Sens fans whine about this in the past. Are there any other teams that the league expanded with, and how many years did they wallow in the basement like the Sens did?

Haha pretty much all expansions teams sucked for the first few years of their existence, OTT made the playoffs in their 6th season then for like 12 years straight after that, maybe you should history more?

yeah, but constantly complaining about what sens fans claim are the horrible expansion rules - the bolts were expanded to the in the same year, and were in the playoffs in their 4th year. the Sharks the year before, but were in the playoffs in their 3rd.

Constantly complaining? Maybe some do but every fanbase has whiners. I was just clarifying for a leaf troll who was chirping about something from 25+ years ago that as expansion teams go, Ottawas first 10-20 years were probably better than expected. Past is the past, and hopefully Seattle gets to pick a good team too.
