he should probably remember to own his fandom of the worst tirefire the NHL has seen in decades too.
- prock

While it may not burn the longest (Harold Ballard had a hell of a run), this tire fire is arguably the hottest.

I've never seen a team implode like this. Ever.

I don't disagree. But don't blame the kids.
- spatso

I'm not blaming the kids or vets on the team at all. The way the things have been run
and said by this incompetent management group the past few years give me no hope or confidence that Melnyk will do things right. Money first, team...not even second.

Look this is starting to get sad and tired.

None of the Sens fans that follow this particular thread deserve to be subjected to the ongoing partisan debate of the "no rules" forum.

I will come back and visit the forum next month. However, I don't really think it is fair for Leaf fans to be trolling a Sens thread.

You will note that during all the years of the forum none of the Sens fans crossed over to troll Leaf fans on the daily Leaf thread.

- spatso

Yeah because it would be a real raucous gathering in here without any fans from other teams....more likely you just giving yourself your daily delusional pep talk of how this is all for the best

Incorrect. I for one enjoy reading comments where history has proven you to be beyond foolish. Enjoy that crow you're eating.

- poopstash

Duh! The history is fairly simple. I was a Leaf fan my entire life. After 20 years of the Leafs refusing to rebuild I left and became a Sens fan. I have no regrets. Finally, the Leafs decided to rebuild properly through the Shanaplan and I supported the approach. But, I was content with being a Sens fan by that time.

The Leaf fans are not upset with my views. They are upset because I don't love them anymore. The strangest part is they miss me fiercely and keep wanting for me to come back.

Okay, but Alice never intended to go to a party even if it really was her unbirthday.

Long before the Sens made the Conference final run last year I came out fully and totally against Melnyk. People who are now coming out against ownership are kind of late to the party. Most Sens fans stopped supporting Melnyk back in the days of the Alfredsson screw up.

those who came out against the sens and their ownership at the fluke conference final run were very late to the party too.

It was obvious the team was a mess further back than the Hammond fluke run.

We will not regret the past nor want to change it.

Why do you focus on wanting to change history? The Sens have had some great runs and provided amazing entertainment in the Ottawa Valley. The Sens have actually won some playoff rounds.

We are headed into a new era with great memories. Hopefully, we can create new experiences and new memories starting with the rebuild this year.

like trading hoffman for nothing?

like trading actual greatness in Karlsson for nothing?

like trading your first in a tank year?

the melnyk ballard meltdowns?

yes great memories indeed.

youre an idiot. Your fellow sens fans are witnessing this. I have no doubt few, if any, have your back on this.

I have no thoughts on anything Sens-related right now since the whole thing is kind of numbing, but one thing I am certain of is that you and a few others have an unhealthy obsession with this guy, like almost to the point where you should probably talk to somebody about it.

Right? I mean I don't want to excuse what stuff he's said, but we may need a whole separate thread for this poop.

agreed.

is what Spatso says, 97.95% of the time completely stupid? absolutely

have some of these leaf fans gone full "swim fan" on him, bordering on an unhealthy obsession.......also absolutely.

get a (frank)ing girlfriend or something man.............you guys post 300 times a day on this site, and it's almost always about spatso.

jesus man, there is more to life than trying to show what a dumbass spatso is...........at this point I don't know who's dumber, spatso for saying it in the first place, or the rest of you for spending hours of your life looking up his previous posts and commenting on it..........over and over and over and over and over again.

Agreed, there are a handful people going out of their way to post on the Senators board that need to seriously reconsider their priorities in life. God help some of you when you wake up in a few years' time, and start to realize how much time you've wasted with this irritating and pointless behaviour.

So, another great day for hockey.

Leafs/Sens tonight.

Going to have to change the way I watch a little bit. It has got to be one shift at a time and take the positives where they come. Especially interested in seeing the rookies step up and take their best shot.

The signing of MacTavish as AGM is a positive. it says in the press release that:

"The 44-year-old MacTavish, a labour and employment lawyer at Ottawa-based Norton Rose Fulbright LLP, has a background in hockey. He has been working as a recruiter and agent for CAA Hockey—a large agency that is led by Pat Brisson and J.P. Barry."

What the news release does not say is that the firm Norton Rose and Fulbright are the legal representatives of the NHL in negotiations for the recent refinancing of the Sens.
