I know it sucks not to watch a game on habs vision (rds) and not have the commentators wearing habs jerseys, openly worship the habs and tow the company line.

Doesn't make much sense for a guy who gets tripped, hooked or whatever on an open net to be "rewarded" with a penalty shot vs a goalie does it?

Yes I know, Patrik Stefan.

Best players tonight: Reilly, Peca, Bitten, Armia, Byron.

I also liked Petry, Brook, and Lernout.

McCarron can be cut already...

Scherbak definitely needs to be better otherwise he'll join McCarron in a hurry.

I don't know for Armia, but I agree for the rest. Felt to me like the Finn was far from at his best.

Teasdale (as Pie rightfully pointed out) played a heck of a game, he was much more visible than Suzuki. They are in quite different situations though, Suzuki already has an ELC in his backpocket while Teasdale is an undrafted 19 year old invitee, so he has much more incentives to play the game of his life. The way he has been playing he deserves a contract, especially considering that his wouldn't count against the cap since he would be going back with the Armada and fighting for a spot on Team Canada at the WJC.

Brook looked better than Lernout and Benn. He's very poised with the puck and doesn't look that far from the NHL. He's a lock for Team Canada at the WJC barring any injuries.

I liked that Armia was consistently in Luongo's face and being all Gallagher after the whistle. The analysis that he may lack speed to play with Domi and Drouin is correct but doesn't take away that I liked what I saw if he were to be moved down the line-up.

Teasdale played hard but it was clear that he lacked talent whereas Suzuki has the talent but needed a period or 2 to get up to speed with the play.

You're right about Brook, but I also liked Lernout's game last night. Simple and physical.

It's weird...I really liked Teasdale yesterday, he has good speed and he made a few of those defensemen look like pylons. I didn't notice Suzuki much during the game...maybe it's because I had higher expectations for him

On the bright side, they don't need Andrew Shaw anymore so they can trade him...
