These guys need to get in games at times during preseason so they can get more up to game speed. NO matter what, they cannot fully simulate that in practice. Every athlete talks about it. Game speed/intensity cannot be replicated in practice, no matter what your intentions are or how hard you try. It's just not the same.

Injuries are a part of the sport so yes, they can happen during preseason. It's just something you have to hope doesn't happen. And sometimes injuries even happen in practice (Eichel's first ankle injury as the prime example). SHould we just wrap all of our stars in bubble wrap and not let them leave the house for the next 2 weeks?

Well there’s no proof one way or the other with Allen specifically
Obviously there can’t be
But it is a commonly held belief that u don’t put a young QB in if they aren’t mentally ready
And it’s pretty easy to see that Allen is struggling in that department
Giving him more time to study makes sense to me
Last thing we need is for him to keep taking all these hits bc he can’t read a blitz is coming & shift the line protection to help out

Some guys just expose themselves to big hits more than others. Jack is very hard to hit. Dahlin should be tough to hit hard for a lot of the same reasons. I worry about Guhle a lot, Sam and Alex too.

He did. It was talked about after the game as far as I know. That and the Vontae Davis retirement were the hot topics in the post game show for the most part.
