I'd be so mad if I were a Sens fan.

That I think this is only a big deal because it’s Sirena Williams. LeBron James pulls this temper tantrum BS on a game to game basis. I’m not saying that she shouldn’t get fined, I’m just saying that in most any other case there would be a fine, people would shake their heads, and move on. There’s a disproportionate amount of people that are dying to make an example out of Williams and I have to think it’s because she’s a successful female athlete. She’s being held to a different standard.

Johnny McEnroe does the same thing and he’s a folk hero. Hell, I love McEnroe for his epic meltdowns. There were plenty of fines there, but the level of outrage was never there. It was just Johnny’s shtick.

I know you ahve said before that you were 20-25 age range, so you couldn't possibly know how people reacted back then, as i don't either. But I know i have asked my dad, aobut john mcenroe and he just says "hes an bumhole", never said that about bjorn borg, pete sampras or andre agassi. So i don't think people liked it back then either. And shes the only one to be made an example of, nobody else acts like a "child" or literally threatens the refs. FFS act like a professional and youll be treated like a professional.

They'll be even more mad when they move to Quebec in a couple of years. Seems like they're really trying to just pick that team apart.

You're right. My opinion is based on word of mouth stories from club house pros when I used to play, but I'll tell you what they got me hooked. I'm sure you're right that there were just as many people who hated him that loved him.

I'm just tired of the news cycle. I don't want to hear about Williams anymore and feel like the story should have ended at the fine.

Or is it that Tennis referees are usually not female doged at as much as Basketball referees, given that it’s a different sport there are different standards of poop the refs put up with?
