That would nothing short of amazing considering he aims for shin pads instead of the net when he shoots from the point. - classic321
He has a surprisingly good wrist shot for a dman, the problem is that he tries to snipe from the blue line |

We'll have to confirm then - LeftCoaster
I added link. He signed a 2 year extension in April. So 2 more years. Yzerman has 1 more year with tampa |

Yeah that is problem
He tries to snipe but he is as stubborn as mule and refuses to move from directly at the center of the point, so you always know where the shot is going to come from. |

I'm looking forward to him trying to pass to Henrik on the side wall all year. |

Ah...I see that, still think Yzerman becomes GM there and Holland steps aside for one year. |

Yzerman said this morning that his family is still in Michigan. He was making commute to tampa. Needs more time with family. I imagine hes next GM of redwings |

He's trying to up his primary assist totals by banking shots in. |

Boeser should
Remember how many times he was open for a one timer and Edler would just look him off?
Edler is a fine 5v5 dman and solid on the PK but he’s a 2nd unit PP player at best. He’d look a lot better on a blue line where he isn’t relied on to be the workhorse #1 dman |

So a guy who wasn’t even in his own damn office half the time was a better GM than most of the other GM’s in the league

We simply don’t have anyone to run the PP until Hughes arrives...Juolevi could eventually share in the responsibilities. Sadly, Edler is our best bet now |

i bet seattle is on his radar since they are likely pushed back another year from becoming a franchise and he could command top dollar. his youngest is 18 or 19 years old so he can have a cushy year as an advisor, be near the fam for a while, and then by the time the expansion draft rolls around his kids are all independant |

Agreed. Juolevi is really smooth/natural on the powerplay, that’s actually one of my fav parts of his game, it’s defensively where I’ve always been sceptical
If he does get called up this year, I hope Green gives him a chance on the PP |

Holy Sh!t everyone is coming out of the woodworks today. Next thing you know Bieksa3 will be making an appearance. |

Drafting is a given, not hard to pick great prospects when you draft 5-5-7. Other than the Dahlen trade most have been pretty blah or bordering on terrible. Development, Boeser, Gaudette and Pettersson chose not to sign and further develop on their own timeline, so who has Benning developed other than Demko? Utica was terrible last year except for Demko. You like Eriksson?
Sorry, just won't ever see what you see, but like I said, things appear to be getting better from these poor finishes and the Dahlen trade appears to be a clear win for Benning. - LeftCoaster

Agreed, watching Juolevi look left to draw attention away from EP and then fire a cross ice one-timer to EP was dreamy 😍😍 |

Bieksa3 won’t post until Michael Dal Colle plays a game. It could be years if ever |

Good for Utica...another blah trade by Benning. - Makita
Jack Rathbone and Goldobin for Hansen? I would do that every year |

I miss Zogg.
Don't know much about Fosco as he was basically gone when I started posting. |
