I don't wanna start a poop-storm with you but I'm curious as to what you mean by "the job" the Canucks have done? What job are you referring to?

Every move has a purpose, misguided or otherwise, that doesn't mean it was a good move. A lot of moves Bennings made have been a complete fail, despite them having purpose.

Moreover, finishing at the bottom of the league three of four years this management group has, and draft really good young prospects, is not something of an accomplishment to hang your hat on when you proclaim you've got a team you like and feel they can push for the playoffs.

Now, all that said, I too am starting to like what I see from a draft and develop perspective! There's some nice potential there.
