he had less than 1PPG the year after he got drafted and barely cracked above PPG in his d+2 season too, sounds like a longshot. |

Watched the game in my camper on the Skeena tonight. It started raining just in time for me to make the excuse to break down the rods and go warm up in front of the furnace. Fun game. Sunday is going to be interesting.

At least it'll be more even of a game, EP, Dahlen and AG all look like they could be locks for opening night (provided they keep this up in main training camp/preseason) |

Just watched a 20 minute video clip of tonight's game, not sure why so down on Lind, he created the turnover on Peterson's goal, made some nice defensive plays, but probably not flashy enough for this fanbase. |

I think people are mainly just joking around, ribbing Lind because it seemed that everyone else excelled so much. I saw some nice plays by Lind and think he had (at least) one good scoring chance.
He looked fine. |

i've never really thought of him as an energy player, Dahlen seemed like the most energetic forward on the top line.
Lind seems like a cerebral player to me. Not going to dominate a game at the pro level since he's not fast or that strong but he can shoot the pick and is a good playmaker. Just needs to gel with his linemates and find some open spots in the offensive zone. I can see why a scrambly game like this wasn't suited to his strengths. I thought he played decently though, wasn't too flashy but was defensively responsible and made some nice little plays. |

my #Canucks game stars:
1) Dahlen
2) Pettersson
3) Gadjovich
4) Palmu
5) Chatfield
Gaudette & Juolevi had their moments, too
Did this game change anyone's mind on why some are higher on Palmu then others?

Well well well. Feels good hey folks.
Only watched the 1st and 2nd, but...
- Dahlen, EP, Gaudette obviously great.
- Gadj and Palmu legit. Gadj's skating was pretty good!
- Lind was pretty quiet but made some nice plays. Looks like he could play with anyone.
- Mac and Jasek could play NHL games but not sure if they'll be impact players.
- OJ was a cut above on the backend. Not flashy but held it down big time.
- Brisebois was also in that mould.
- I thought Chatfield was terrible.
- Dieps did what he had to do.
No structure to be found anywhere however |

I said all along look out for PP but because of his size most in here disagreed . He just scores everywhere he goes ,but it is not worth debating about him when most feel Gaudette won't even make the club.
Sometimes it is better to just say it once and leave it at that. I think Palmu will be one of the top 3 goal scores on Utica |

I don't see Palmu making the NHL this year. I still think he is probably near the 10th best prospect in Van's system.
Owen Hardy and Isaac Nurse replacing EP and AG next game is true? According to the young stars roster page, EP and AG are the only centers listed. |
|
|
|
So what do you guys think about Dahlen? I think he is the biggest bubble player.
Would you rather see him or Goldobin playing that second line on Canucks?
Dahlen will eventually be the guy but do you start him off in Utica? |

MacEwen plays center.
No big deal to sit AG and EP . It really is a meaningless game for them but it may be Canucks highlight of this year McMaster and Eggenbergger also play center
