Nice list. I think it's going to be tough for Provorov to improve his point totals from last season of 41 to 49 this season. He was already one of the top 5 on 5 point producers among defenseman. Unless the Flyers change the PP lineup, it's going to be difficult to increase 5 on 5 points.

I base that on the addition of JVR plus a healthy Simmonds finally giving the team 2 good PP units. I expect the Flyers will be one of the higher scoring teams in the league as, even if G, Coots and Jake have some drop off, I expect increased totals from Patrick, Konecny, Lindblom, Sanheim and to a lesser extent Weal and Laughton.

I can see Provorov increasing his pp production by 5-10 points which will be most of his point increase.

Unless someone like Patrick develops very quickly into that PP QB, that is going to be tough. Provorov hasn't shown to be very adept at playing on the PP, to be fair he hasn't been given much of a shot at it. The 2nd unit will likely continue to get low ice time and tough starts on changes after clears with less than a minute left.

I think we keep seeing over anxious expectations of Provorov. Wanting to pay him like one of the top defenseman in the league, expecting him to improve his point totals significantly, etc.
