I'm not a fan of their early stuff which is vapid pop (much like the Beatles early stuff), but Pet Sounds was a visionary album that transcends the period imo - jcragcrumple
Was Wouldn't it be Nice off that album? That was a step in the right direction, I'll give you that haha. I mean the guys made a lot of classics so I get it.
Edit: Here Today was off that album, just looked. I liked that better, you are right. The album is still a little to "shiny and new" to me.

With all this music talk, i highly suggest the documentary "the Wrecking crew" if you have never seen it. It's about all the studio musicians in the 50's and 60's that played on a lot of albums you would be surprised the actual bands didnt play on. Documentary was made by the son of Tommy Tedesco, a member of the Wrecking Crew and a native of Niagara Falls, NY.
Most of Pet Sounds was recorded by members of the Wrecking Crew and they all raved about the album and Brian Wilsons songwriting/creativity.

The difference is that in these games the opposition will have 18 year-old ass-clowns looking to impress their coaches. Odds are they'll think that targeting Mitts or Dahlin with a headshot will somehow help them make their team.

Dahlin needs as many games on North American ice as he can get. Mittelstadt will have a chance to get chemistry going with Thompson, Nylander, Oloffsson.
