Everyone who was stocked with signing beagle, rousell and scheifle so that we could waive our and down younger players.

For the record I was down with signing one... not three and wanted gaudette as the number three center not beagle.
Go throat those fracktards

Who the hell is anti-youth? I will throat those f@cktards.

Not anti-youth in the sense that they want older players on the roster, but in the sense that they'll say they prefer starting the youth in the AHL, guys like Gaudette.

It’s either all Oilers or all Red Wings, there is no middle ground.

Middle ground? Is that a Lord of the Rings reference?

I am of the opinion that the 4th centre position is Gaudette's job to lose.
We have 3 centres, Horvat, Sutter and Beagle.
Granlund Gaunce and Gagner haven't shown too be capable at that position.
Also, he will be 22 by the time the season starts, time too play him.

Prefer? If they had a young star ready for the NHL they ain't holding him back because of his age. Lack of top end skill is the reason. They tell fibs to save face.

Didn’t Gagner score five points in one game between Boeser and Vanek?

He also had an 8 point night a few years back.

Not sure a player that can occasionally get hot once every 5 years is considered a capable centre though.

I'm just saying, i do believe some fans do fall into the category of "tie goes to the veteran" just so they don't the vet on waivers. Personally, I'd give the spot to the younger player if it's a toss-up.

We've seen that plenty of coaches and GM's certainly do.

If I was to set the over–under at 4.5 on JB trades this season (from first day to last day of regular season, obviously including trade deadline) what would you take?

I personally think it is overblown

Dorsett retired and replaced by Roussel

Schaller replaced the fourth line guy Dowd who sucked

Sutter replaced Henrik who retired

Beagle replaced Sutters spot.

Bo EP and Brock

The rest are up for grabs . Go win a spot

Everyone has a hate on for Gagne. I bet he shares center duties on the second line with Pettersen and is one of our best scorers this season.#darkhorse

One or two during the season and one or two at trade deadline?

For a team in transition I was hoping it would be higher.

Should have set the number at 3.5

Thunder, I give you Exhibit A.

I have to ask you Don, do you hate kids? Or do you just hate the crap kids that we have at the bottom of our roster?

I think we'll have more waiver pick ups than trades, JB likes garage sales, but our professional scouts are poop so I expect a broken toaster.

I wonder if they'll get desperate if injuries mount? Another lost season early on will be hard on ticket sales.
