I'm not a big Letang fan, but at the same time, the guy has skill, when healthy. He's lost a step, and his minds wanders at times, but he's still the team's best defenseman. That being said, I think he gets dealt in the next year or 2 as Sid and Geno start to see their numbers dip (to an extent) and the team goes from perennial contender to perennial playoff team.

As a Flyers fan yes that's all you hope for haha Jokes aside, I believe the Flyers will enter the perennial playoff team phase from now on. I doubt they become contenders.

Oh I completely believe it was just nonsense. JR may be open to dealing anyone besides of the top 2 guys depending on the return, but I doubt JR was looking to trade Letang.
