This afternoon I confirmed what my father and I suspected last fishing season. The work I paid to be done on my outboard jet was never done. They sent us on our big vacation with an outboard that was going to overheat not long after we got in the water. Luckily, we went upstream and were able to use low rpms for steerage as we rushed back down the Bulkley to my truck. If we had of went downstream... we wouldnt have been able to get back... possibly spending the night on shore somewhere or worse.

Anyways, took it to a mechanic today. I didnt suggest anything to him. Just let him know some sand got in and the alarm was going off and all that. Told him the thermostat was replaced last summer by NR Motors(Merc dealer) and they said everything was in working order. Well, this guy today walks me in the shop and proves to me that not a single of the 10 bolts required had ever been cracked. Factory paint mark unbroken. They lied... pushed me out the door, collected $850 and ruined our big fishing trip.

People in the Interior or in a jam on your way north,,, avoid these maggots. I already swore I wouldnt use them after they lied about the boat I wanted being in stock in 2009. I drove all the way up there and it wasnt in stock and he tried to sell me something else that wouldnt match my existing outboard. Of course his solution was buy a new outboard as well. I had to go back a couple of years later when they were the only ones selling the Jet I needed anywhere in the north... trapped. I chewed my own leg off after to make it worse.

A friend of mine bought a truck camper from them years ago, didn't have a great experience, sounds like not much as changed.

Didn't realize, until now, that Todd Bertuzzi is 9th in all-time scoring for the Canucks with 449 points in 518 games. His PP/G average is 0.87, which is higher than Linden, Smyl, Naslund or Henrik and Daniel

Linden for Bertuzzi, McCabe and Ruutu is the best trade in Canucks history, give that man a job

you might be onto something there? Although he was pretty damn good in the 1994 playoffs with Bure. They carried that team offensively.

I liked watching him kick some ass but that’s about it

That was such a fun team, scored goals and could run you over while doing it

I sure liked his fiery temper, only problem was players would run him and he’d go ape sh1t. Plus he couldn’t stop a beach ball from centre ice.

Danno gets a bad rap, he was actually a pretty decent goaltender for the team in 02/03/04. Subject to the odd bad goal but so was Luongo and he's probably the best tender the Canucks have ever seen.

It’s pretty sad that the 2 lasting moments of that era will be that goal and the Bertuzzi sucker punch lol
