How exactly is the allergic reaction he had to medicine he was taking for a concussion affect him NOW?

He no longer has a concussion
He’s no longer taking the medicine

U aren’t making sense sir

- jdfitz77

Connolly and Ennis were never the same after their concussions. Even Crosby isn't the same point producer. You're expecting way too much of Okposo at 30 years old. If he has a career year, that's almost a miracle. In order for him to have the best year of his career, he would need 28 goals and 70 points

Okposo was never a consistently elite winger. You're asking jack to turn back the clock on Okposo's age and injury history to when he was 25. It's not going to happen imo

Sanders looks rejuvenated this preseason. Look for a big year from him. Broncos wasted the best WR duo in their prime the past two seasons.

“I’m not going to be happy just riding off into the sunset, I had a few good years and whatever, I want to get back to being an elite player, I want to help this team win and I think I’m capable of that.”

I am looking forward to seeing what KO does this year. With a more balanced lineup top to bottom I would like to believe that the scoring should improve throughout, and I could see Kyle scoring 25g this year. I would not worry too much about the concussion unless he gets another one. Guys like Crosby, Skinner and Oshie have all had multiple concussions (Crosby and Oshie have had at least 4 a piece.)

My question is, will another team be so dumb that they can’t see through the “Play with Eichel to jack up his point total” scam?

Okposo had another concussion at the end of this year. So that's 2 in 2 years, one severe. I'm not sure if he had any with the islanders

Like I said, he was only elite for 1 year, so I just don't see him replicating that. If he gets over 20, and 55-60 points, that's a terrific season for him.

Reinhart totaled 37 points (18G,19A) in his final 38 games of the 2017-18 season. Reinhart scored 20 goals in 43 games in calendar year 2018 tying him for 12th-most in the NHL from January 1 until the end of the regular season.

I doubt it. Maybe Ottawa accepts their rebuilding fate and takes him, a la Sabres and Moulson. Otherwise, just cut the losses and buy him out July 2020

RB’s went the first 7 picks with 6 already kept.

Jones was by far BPA when I picked at 10, and had Hopkins kept on the way back

I am anticipating Jack to be around 90 pts this season if he can stay healthy for say 78+ games.
Having a competent LW in either Sheary or Skinner, and either Okposo or Sam on his right gives him the talent on both sides he has been lacking.
Also, more distributed scoring throughout the lineup will help reduce the singular focus on shutting him down, so he gets some relief there.
Lastly, I looking for capable finishing from the backend as well...That 5 man attacking unit
Housley wants, but last years team wouldnt play. The 2005-2007 teams had that trailer as a key weapon, hopefully Dahlin and Guhle can upgrade there as well as Bogo and Risto jumping up too.
That structure should add more goals.

So 1.1 PPG pace for Jack is my fofecast.

- IonSabres

I’d be happy with that
In the end, whether we can legit compete for Cups will probably come down to just how good Jack & Dahlin become

And there’s plenty of guys who’ve had a concussion & still went on to play well after
For every Ennis, I’ll point out a Crosby
Okposo played well last year in the second half once he got his legs under him

All I’m asking is for a return to form from 2yrs ago
That’s not crazy
And if he plays with Jack,
his production “should” go up from where he was at ONLY 2 seasons ago

Is it a scam... or just showing what Okposo can do when on a line with a good center?

Presumably,
a team that traded for him isn’t gonna play him with scrubs

Playing him with Jack will just highlight he can be a good player still,
and reaffirm that with teams who might be weary after last season

Austin Matthews, who many consider on a level with mcdavid has never topped 70 points but most people you ask would absolutely say he is an elite talent, I can understand questioning whether Eichel is a 100 point guy, but I really don’t see how Jack is not an elite talented player.
- Sabres1523

To be fair, I said elite point producer on the original message. There is not a doubt he is an elite talent. We just knew when Edmonton pulled that #1 ball they got the elite scorer and we got a generational talent that would lead us to the pronise land one day but probably won’t see too many 90 plus seasons. With that being said, it is easy to compile a list of current studs that do not break 90 and we would trade half of our team to get
