funny thing is how Toronto Maple Leafs fans were saying that Matthews is a generational talent just like McD and that Eichel with the Sabres is a 2nd tier talent comparatively speaking... the numbers seem to show that Eichel on a lesser Sabres team performs at the same pace relatively as Matthews and that both aren't near McDavid...

What you have to understand is generational players come along every 2 years in the draft.

We are essentially living in the era of 10+ generational players currently in the league.
