It's Roy, it will always be Roy.

...and even he got people that wanted him out of town.

Bunch of bipolar ingrates.

You can make an argument for Worsley, Plante or even Dryden IMO but Price?

I don't think so.

At his age with no training camp and a year of innactivity and his mobility was already not great?

It could still happen, I thought Markov was done after the back to back knee injuries and he proved me wrong.

- Fredo

Weber will still be a monster when he comes back. People are really exaggerating his downfall since he was traded to Montreal.

Markov would still be on our fait defensive pairing if he was in Montreal. I'd welcome him back with open arms and an apology letter from our idiotic GM.

It's because people are measuring his success by comparing him to Subban (which I guess is normal) instead of evaluating him by his own. By constantly comparing him to Subban, he will always be a disappointment.

I find very funny that the people who want the Habs to bring back 40 year old Andrei Markov are mostly the same who are qualifying Weber of "old and done" at 33
- stinger67

Bringing back Markov is a testament of how poopty the Habs D is currently. A declining and injured Weber is a part of that problem.

Habs saved 1.5M in cap hit, that's means they would have 6.3M instead of the 7.8M they have available right now, .that's.....important

yup and to bring that important 1st line center they desperately need.

Cap space is also important to make deals at the trade deadline...it's like a secret card

I think he could benefit from playing on a team that doesn't have Winnipeg's depth up front

I have no idea. Could have a "Byron breakout" type season maybe?
