I think they were on a short leash, but I also think Buch did it to himself. He started the season good, then the effort just disappeared. I wish we could put Vesey's work ethic in Buch's body.

From what Quinn said and how he has previously coached, he doesn't mind slumps as long as the effort is there, but hates laziness.

It was AV with the short leash. But, it was also Buch with the (perceived) lack of effort and attention to detail.

That's another possibility but i'd like to see Andersson on a line that can produce. Disclaimer: I am not an NHL exec/coach and have no practical experience in putting together a lineup or evaluating talent

He blew off me and my brother & Uncle not just with a not doing an autograph like everyone else but he flipped us and other people the finger. We were dumbfounded & most of us already kind of didn't like him so that cemented it forever. I get now as an adult people have bad days and he forgot about that 2 minutes later but we remember that moment forever.

How many Cups do McDavid, Matthews and Karlsson have?
The only thing that is even close to a guarantee is that trading away your assets for the flavour of the month is not going to get it done. We’ve tried that more times than I can count.
