Too much context is how you get into retardlytics and it just creates more questions. This is simple.
Boeser is a 1st line player
Horvat is a 1st line player but at the bottom
Baertschi 2nd line.
Sutter and Eriksson, we all know they are used as defensive guys still put up points as good 3rd liners. Sutter has pretty much the same scoring rate over the past 3 seasons even though his ozone starts have gone from 52.1 to 43.8 to 22.6.
Beagle, Roussel, Schaller are 4th lines.
Virtanen, Gaunce, Granlund need to be better otherwise they are also 4th liners.

I agree with nucker here. No one here has used any sort of analytics to bash sutter. People are using point/goal totals and production. We are using line mates and deployment to defend him, which is the opposite. No one is discussing his corsi or any fancy stat. Also, adding context is almost the opposite of getting into analytics. Analytics are almost like a one way street without context or variance (take it from someone who doesn't mind analytics compared to the rest of the board)
