BPA is generally how most teams pick. I approach drafts in my own way. If BPA fills need great. If need can be filled later in the draft i trade down if its elite talent. I never trade down if a top C or top 2D is available. Problem picking D is they slide most often & bargains can be had later. I cite NYI at 11 & 12 getting Wahlstrom & Dobson. Thats a great position they were in. Wahlstrom being a winger is not a guaranteed stud but Dobson for a RHD is looking great. C’s & top D IMO always are the picks to make. Takes a very special winger to change that.

As for discussed with me not really. Its always BPA not JB’s or Judds or whomever.
Then the fickle ppl go off on who was picked conveniently ignoring BPA of a GM. Its what makes our fanbase what they are. Never satisfied & always whining about every little thing. Rarely much good to say.
