Why is it that fans of opposite teams can't have some rational conversation with each other without being adversarial? I don't disagree that a regression in points is likely for Giroux this upcoming season due to the fact that he had a phenomenal season last year. Doesn't change the fact that over the last 5-6 seasons Giroux has been one of the top scorers in the league over that time span. Calling any of it luck is complete nonsense. - MJL

Stop with this nonsense. You don't need to worry about the 50 contract limit. It will never prevent the Leafs from adding any player they want. Besides they are at 47 which isn't anywhere near the limit. And we have 4 or 5 goalies - all of them would have to clear waivers to be sent down. This will open up a couple spots.

Waiving players down to the minors does not clear contract spots.
Tavares is dope. Fun player to watch. Leafs will be a thrill to watch with all the impressive offensive creativity and options they have up front. The back end though could use some work. - Pixote Andolini

Why do Leafs threads draw so much critiquing and vitriol? How long should they have to wait to win another Cup? Has the suffering not gone on long enough? It's so delicious that the trolls keep coming in here. Really shows how much the Leafs upswing is bothering them.
What's even sweeter is when they go back to their own threads to "brag" about how they're intentionally trolling and talk poop about Leafs fans after getting female dog slapped with facts that directly counter their troll fails.
