I just thought that the only thing that really addressed at the deadline was stockpiling D

when are they gonna stockpile wingers?

you have to dress 8 of them a game

Good point. We'll see what they do this year and what they get for the guys rumored to be on the block.

So who are we doing for D.

Lowe, Beuk, Leetch, McDonagh, Zubov, Patrick, Gresh....

All of them possible first or second pairings. The third pairing is where it gets tough. Are you listing G?

Yeah. I was wondering if we should just do best defensemen. 3rd pairing is going to be tough and a ton of guys could be left off. Like Girardi and Beuk could be 3rd pairing type guys... I don't know

Everyone who laced 'em up last season could be considered a 3rd pairing guy.

I think Lindgren should be in the next tier up from where Pronman has him. He seems like a very good bet to be a solid 3rd pair guy. Maybe Gropp should be a little lower though he still has upside. Maybe Z or Hayes can bring back an extra 1st if they're out of it by Feb. It is a little scary that Gorton/Clark are making such off the grid picks in a rebuild, though 2nd rounders are certainly no guarantee, but they could've had another likely NHL'er at 40. I do think Lindbom could be solid, and with Shest being around 28-29 by then who knows where they stand. Perhaps Lindbom brings back something in a trade if Shest is working out. On the 88-present picks I might have Gaborik in there somewhere.

, I know. Pionk stood out as one of the best rookies in the league for the games he played, w/ the exception of that brutal game ending mistake in the crease

He is going to be a Kruglike dman for years to come

NYR D corp will be stacked in a few yeas. They will rival Nashville's D
