I do believe that if Columbus is/was (use whatever verb conjugation that you want) interested in trading Panarin, as I don't think they think they can re-sign him.

The issue is, is that I think most teams don't believe that they can either, and/or it is not a good fit for them (money-wise, whatever) ... so that limits trade partners or what a return might be.

Basically Columbus might have waited too long to get the return that they have been looking for.

If they want anything at all for him, they will move him at some point, but it just won't be for what they want.

I am starting to get the impression that many teams are pretty sure they know the field to sign the guy is not going to be all that big when the time comes. Limited market stuff.

Welp, all of the corners are now covered. If he's traded, EK can say he said it. If he stays, EK can say he told us he would... only thing you haven't covered EK is he's bolting for the KHL or retiring....🤔😂🤣
Will do anything for a click...

I wonder what (e) rating Ek would give the Amber Heard 'rumour' that Johnny Depp is throwing around right now. Just for some clarity for Panarins status...........

More to come..........hopefully not from Amber Heard!

I think they've waited too long to do it. Same with Hoffman & the Sens, as soon as a Gm Gets a whiff something isn't right he should sell to get the highest price before it becomes public. Panarin is 1 of the best players playing the game, hes going to get paid. So now throw into the mix his preferred destination & a lot of organisations just said no thanks. It will now come to a contender or bubble team (that has assets), at the deadline which In myna opinion is less than what they should/could have got at the draft or before all the news broke.

It is becoming a thing now where players are starting to dictate where they go reducing their value - isn't social media great. Which is creating havoc with all the 'old school' individuals running organisations.

Obviously a lie, Jarmo texted me this morning. Panarin to either Pittsburgh for Jack Johnson straight up, back to the blackhawks for seabrook and a 7th, or the Oilers for McDavid. Trade is imminent (e4).

Every trade involving SuperGM Peter C. is very likely!

Sources close to me have confirmed that Chiarrelli fully intends to deal McDavid, but at the end of this year. Panarin will go to the Oilers for McDavid. Chiarrelli will then sign Seguin and immediately trade him to New Jersey with salary retained for Andy Greene. e4

I think a monkey throwing darts on a board would come to more solid hockey-decisions... this guy blundered so many times, he wouldn't be claimed on a usedcar-dealer waiver-wire.

what a week in the off season can do. from E4 to the Islanders to staying with his current team
- eaf62

The previous post didn't say E4 that he was being traded to the Islanders. It said E4 that the Islanders were "being aggressive." People just like to gripe around here.

Gotcha. Porkchop is very familiar with meatballs. Kinda like Coga and man balls.

Krug to edmonton could be a consideration with Suckera being injured.

Hall- Nico - Panarin
Mojo - Zacha - Palmieri
Coleman -Zajac - Noesen
Wood - Boyle -Bratt
