Remember, any time he mentions a team, and that team makes a deal, within the next 6 months or so... then he takes credit for breaking the news.

Also, Ek has all the same connections as ALL the other actual sports writers. So when one of them breaks something, when Ek re-announces it, it means he broke the news.

Kessel had a career year last year, 92 points...I dont think Pens fans are complaining as they won that deal by a landslide. Had the Leafs not traded Steel for Red Light Freddy it may have been a closer deal
