Alright this was just posted by a guy that has been correct with several of the Flames moves. He has been right about the Gulutzan firing, Peters hire, Neal signing, Brouwer buyout just to name a few.

According to him the flames have been kicking tires on goalies around the league and he is hearing that Saros is our main target but the price is too high at the moment.

If he’s correct as he has been in the past this would be a perfect move to cap off this summer as far as I’m concerned.

I have said in past that I like the idea of trying to target Saros but the push back has always been that Saros has been Nashville's planned replacement for Rinne so I can only imagine how high the asks are to get him.

This guy has been correct so many times in the past that he is hard to ignore but this one seems like a pipe dream in my opinion.

I have a really hard time believing they will let go of their future goalie unless it’s a significant amount. I would think Saro’s situation compares to the Matt Murray situation when we were rumored to be poking around trying to get him. BT obliviously feels he has one more hole to plug before going into this season and he wouldn’t be doing his job if he wasn’t trying to get what he wants.

Would Bennett, and Gillies get this done?

I’m not so sure about that. Typically you’d think a jury wouldn’t award (an already wealthy) man $126,000 unless they felt that the accusations were bullsh!t.

The grammar was poor cause I wrote in a hurry but the idea is still right. This league is strict against any criminal actions regarding the players whether it's drug or domestic abuse.
