Might as well just trade all your picks outside the top two rounds for vets on expiring contracts every year. That way you will never have a log jam, and your drafted players will be able to step in 2-3 years after being drafted no problem.

I have no problem with the players on the list except for McDonaugh and Shattenkirk. I would of had Jones and Dumba instead.

I think Canucks have 3 top end NHL players in Boeser Hughes and Pettersson. and some very good players like Bo Sutter Edler Tanev.

I know everyone is expecting the worst but I can see things turning around quickly over the next two years.

You still need some vets on both clubs which means if some young players are ready then Gagner would be a perfect fit in Utica

Lind, Gad, OJ, Palmu need to show they are more developed. The players in Utica have to continue to take steps forward as well. Should know by Christmas what the roster will be looking by the TDL

EK & Burns are not top 2.
Hedman & Doughty are easily at the top IMO
