I don't expect too see Goldobin in a Canucks uniform this upcoming season. At least Hansen turned into a player that sort of jad potential, as well as Palmu and Gunnarson.

True, he will be playing in the K with Gaunce and Goldobin. Also, not sure why he mentioned them as the Canucks got Rathbone and Goblin for Hansen

I disagree on Goldy, I think within two years he’ll be a regular middle six winger, 40 ish points per season. With the Canucks? Maybe, maybe not. Boner (hehe) has the skating, he could be a nice surprise in that deal.

Ummm..no. it was the 2 players i mentioned, as a result of trading picks.
Anyways, I think,Gunnarson is a fine prospect, we always need defensive defensemen too nurtute/babysit our super duper star offensive defensivemen.

I’m sure if you dig deep enough you could find an example of a guy who never scores a point in the junior/development leagues who made it as an NHLer, but even the most defensive dmen in the NHL were near PPG players when younger.

Goldy better make his mark soon.
New prospects will push him out if he doesn’t get it going. Busts are much more common than years of chances.

Subban has a better chance than Gunnerson. Also, anyone recall what our trade was at the 2017 draft? We got a 4th from SJ. Did we use that on rathbone or trade it? I can’t remember that far back

Edit: I’m 80% sure Reuby is incorrect but I can’t seem to find proof

If the Canucks hadn’t traded Hansen, he likely would have been been taken by Vegas. So, the Canucks would have avoided Mr. Bustobin, would have lost out on two C+/B- prospects but would have had Sbisa for one more year?

The SJ pick was traded to Chicago for a 5th and 6th. The 5th was Gunnarsson and the 6th was Palmu.

The jersey doesn’t make the team, the team makes the jersey.

My favourite jersey will be the one they wear when they win their first cup.

Something tells me that the original 70's logo will be on the "main" uniform.

Seemed a little strange to me when I saw that the original logo isn't even among the choices for the 50th anniversary sweater. Why wouldn't you commemorate it by wearing what you wore then? Seeing stick&rink has a lot of support here makes it seem even more so. I understand those who don't care for it, as a kid the stick&rink was always at the bottom of my list of favorite hockey logos/sweaters. The flying skate was pretty cool, and is the best of all Canuck NHL logos, but those colors were hideous to my eye.

That tells me that they will go back to the original uniform on a full time basis. At least i hope they do!

You watch tennis. You're hating on the sick in rink.
That's an endorsement of epic proportions for the stick in rink, modified version!
