I disagree. We tried this. We got downie, we had cooke, we had boogard, we had big tough guys. Cooke is the only one I believe to actually win the cup, and for as much poop as people give Cooke for being dirty, the guy had actual scoring capability. We got rid of them and went back to back. I don't want our team coming off as weak. Wilson laughing was a massive middle finger to us, but winning the cup is the ultimate goal, and if it means having guys like bonino and carl haglin on our 3rd lines , I'll take it. - Thrill81
Bonino was pretty gritty. Haglin alright but he’s worth about 2 million less than his awful contract. If Kunitz was still on the team he would have done something to Wilson. Probably not fight him but he would have got his shots in. Hockey gods frowned upon is for such a piss pour display of hockey. |

Kunitz - Grinder47
First i was also surprised we didn't get him back - considering his price, but when one calls Sheary invisible in playoffs, Kunitz sadly ranged himself in the same category '18.
I bet your part of the same crowd that thinks painting a line down the middle of your car looks cool too... - Flamin_Irishmin
Racing-strips are just allowed on very fast cars (>=Corvette).

Kunitz would put up more points this year on malkin a Wing than Haglin. |

This will always be my favourite, because they harken back to the days of blessed Johan Hedberg |

We should trade him for Reeves, Tanner Glass, and use the money to sign Jon Scott because Girt wins cups! - Mino42

I liked Bonino. Not worth 4 million but good guy. Haglin I love having but the only time he played like he was being payed 4 million was on the HBK line. Kunitz I want. He's not the top 6 beast he was in 2009 or even in 2014, but he's still effective on the 4th line, especially with a center like cullen or sheahan, and if injuries happen he's still got it enough to play with crosby or malkin for a few games I think. |

He’s a better option top six all season than Haglin ever was. |

Third jersey’s are as played as much as the out door games and calling a team an Original 6 team. Move on. - Doogs

Hagelin had 31 points this year and he wasn't locked to Malkin's wing. I believe he had stints on the fourth line so I'm okay with him. He's not ideal in our top 6 but it certainly could be worse. Assuming Brassard takes Malkin's LW, that solves our weak link in the top 6, and if Brassard is our 3rd line center, we have 3 scoring lines and Hagelin is certainly good enough to be in the top 9 so that works too. |

Don’t know how to paste an image, but it was tweeted by NHL Apparel the they are putting the current Pens logo on the jersey that Matty Barnaby is wearing on that card.

Don’t know how to paste an image - Doogs
For getting the image-address, just right-click on it and there must be something like "Copy image/graphics-address..."
Then you create a message there, where on the bottom you click "Img" (creates a -tag), insert the above copied link (with edit-paste in your browser, you can also via rightclick-insertlink or pressing Control+V), and then you click again "Img" (which will create a -endtag).
Hagelin - Thrill81
While with Hagelin barely the problem was that he actually runs, he at least has a contract-year... i'm also expecting a little bit more of him, but let's also not forget that he serves a big duty on the PK. |

So in 1 way you say you'll take cups without the 'enforcer' type player mentioning Wilson. Who just won a cup. So they win with 'that' type. So it's safe to say you can win either way - just need to have a coach that will accept what the Wilson types do. |

Thank you. For the info.
I agree with Hags. I also saw somewhere that he is VERY happy here and may take a reasonable contract to stay.

Totally. A cup is a cup, but I don't consider Wilson an enforcer. He's dirty which is what I don't like, but the guy put up 30 points last year. I'd be fine with Wilson if he wasn't so dirty. With our current team it just doesn't benefit us imo. Sullivan plays a fast offensive game. A guy like sestito wouldn't fit. To clarify though I'm fine with big body gritty players. I'm just against derek boogard kind of players. |

Bryan Rust I think brings a lot to the team. He can skate, he's clutch, and he's responsible defensively. |
