I know that this has probably been discussed but are the Flyers kicking tires on Panarin or would his salary be a crutch moving forward having to sign a few guys in the next few years. He is a world class player but logically do we have room for him, would obviously have to give up at least 2 good prospects and prob 2 roster players as well?
- Daceroni

Maybe if Simmonds was going the other way. You would still have to resign him and probably for more than Giroux or Voracek is making atm.

Tavares is overrated, never done anything. Playoffs what, twice? He beat the Panthers in the first round and people were ready to give him the King of NY title. Point totals are consistent but not eye popping. He's not Claude Giroux and never will be.

Flip the two and put G in Long island and see if they are a better team.

I think he's made it pretty clear he would only sign long term for a New York team or the Hawks. No reason to get him for a one year rental

Love how Jonesy knocked Tavares for "not getting his team to the playoffs very often"
- YuenglingJagr

Whats that old saying? Those who play in the Wells Fargo Center should not throw stones.

Flyers haven't won a playoff series in 6 years. If he's going to be tough on Tavares he should be saying the same thing about these players.

If a glass castle poops in the woods, does the pope still sign a bridge deal?

If Schenn was one of the Philly bridges what would he be?. I say Tacony-Palmayra.

While searching for Philly bridges that could easily be replaced I came across this.

Holy smokes!

This was up around the Burlington Bristol Bridge. It lost its engines.

That's a false narrative. Schenn is not a big three bridge.

LOL, yes and no. One of the things that attracted us to the Jacksonville/St. Augustine area was the fact that it's far enough north to still have seasons. From mid December to early March, the day time highs are usually in the mid 60s and the lows around 50.

I live 4 hours west of J-Ville in Pensacola -- its still to damn hot for a northern boy like me

Yup, can't wait to be there permanently next year. Love a place where I can play outdoor gigs pretty much year round. It really is a perfect spot for me. Within a 2 hour driving radius from my home is St. Augustine, Jacksonville, Daytona, Gainesville and Orlando. Between those 5 areas alone are over 100 venues that book the type of music I play.

Come jam with me in Orlando

We can get serious about this black metal scat band
