Wasn't the lead singer from the Zombies, Colin Blunstone, part of the Allan Parson's Project? Saw the Zombies in concert 6 years ago and they were tremendous. Blunstone and Ron Argent were a fantastic duo. Both did OK on their own, as well.

Tanner apparently thinks it's edgy to call classic music played out, and whatever's on Pitchfork's front page this week is the greatest album of all time. Also it's edgy to be only into action movies, as if the lack of a distinction between popular cinema and art films is a new, edgy idea (it's not).

They gave up very little to get a legit 30 goal scoring winger with speed.

ROR was unhappy in Buffalo, overpaid and not scoring enough to earn his contract. The money they cleared by moving ROR and the expiring Pominville contract should make it easy for them to sign Skinner to a JVR/Kane type deal.

Rather have Skinner on the LW beside Tavares or Matthews than Hyman, that's for damn sure. And at that price, they may have let a bargain slip away, even if it was just for one year.

If he becomes a UFA and the Leafs end up moving Nylander for a RHD, Skinner wouldn't be too bad of a replacement, depending on price of course. Maybe he has some Leafs bed sheets.

If buffalo is having a bad season by the deadline they could probably trade skinner for a 1st to a contender. Wouldn’t be surprised if he resigns tho, wanted to be closer to home by the sounds of things and Buffalo was one of his top destinations. Pretty good winger imo.

ROR didn't want to be there anymore. Remember his whole "lost the love for the game" memoir he did? Seems like he was a bit of a problem child.

Skinner supposedly had to approve a trade to Buffalo and blocked trades to the Kings and Blues. I just read this from another poster on the EK thread though, so not verified. He may actually re-sign in Buffalo.

Skinner is a legit 30 goal scorer. He's a good player, at least offensively.

Okposo and Moulson were brutal contracts signed after those players were gifted time next to Tavares on Long Island. Neither were legitimate NHL players after that despite scoring 60 points with JT dragging them up and down the ice.

Myers had a strong rookie year but never really lived up to his contract extension.

I can't remember if Bogo came with his current contract or if they gave it to him.

Pominville is way overpaid but done next year.

Ville Leino had to be one of the worst contracts in league history.
