If we could keep letang and somehow get Karlsson and at all time Crosby and malkin are on the ice with one of the two I’d be fine with it. Phil’s cool and makes good memes but he ain’t no Karlsson.
And the Karlsson sweeps heads round the top turn & down the back straight. It's Tampa out front leading the way, closely followed by Vegas who is followed by Ottawa & Dallas, making a quick run were the Hawks but they've fallen back, Columbus look disinterested as Do Florida, Carolina, Buffalo & the Kings, waiting patiently for their run is Edmonton, New Jersey, & Washington (who aren't likely at this stage as the jockey is wearing #8), there seems to be some type of disturbance in the run as Pittsburgh is having a líttle push & shove with Philadelphia (there is some history there), Arizona appears to have stopped & the jockey just picking up some rubbish off the track. The Winnipeg Jets are flying but again don't look like a runner in this race, St Louis is whistling to a different tune & Anaheim seem to be waddling along. The Bruins seem to be hibernating & Calgary are starting to warm to the run, Colorado (who have the upper hand in this race) seem to be increasing interest which may end up snowballing & create an avalanche down the home straight, the Red Wings just aren't in this race, and the Wild are just cruising without any real purpose. Montreal really need this but appear to be fighting some inñer demons & look confused, San Jose & the Islanders are just waiting For the right time & im sure will get a mention late, & tailing off making sure they have a view of every thing are the Rangers.

why would GMJR make this move? They have EK. his name is Kris letang. and EK will be a UFA next yr. he will then sign with tampa. the pens cannot afford him and if they trade away 92 points, who is going to score? then again they have 5 centers so.....they need to shed salary, not take it on.
how about: brassard and simon to montreal? Montreal would send back Patches and would keep $1.5M of his salary.

A team with both Letang and Karlsson might score 350 goals per season. The only problem is that it would also give up 350 goals per season. No thanks. The Pens' defensive problems are more due to the offense's lack of support than the actual defensemen on the team.
