Osuna is going to be fine. Gibbons has always been questionable on how he manages his pitchers, with someone that understands them a bit more the injury situation might be considerably less.

I had also heard from some folks that work at SN that he was generally a terrible human being. They wanted him gone, and at the height of the #MeToo hysteria it was too good of an opportunity to pass up.

Zaun is an old school hound dog and womanizer - for sure. I went to his golf tournament - he seems ok, a little bit of a jock but not an idiot.
At least he didn't poop all over the Jays the way Hughson is allowed to poop on the Leafs every Saturday night.

I had also heard from some folks that work at SN that he was generally a terrible human being. They wanted him gone, and at the height of the #MeToo hysteria it was too good of an opportunity to pass up.

I feel awful for the men out there who have been making women creeped out or downright scared for their lives who have been shamed or have lost their jobs (as public figures) all because of this nasty, horrible, FAKE NEWS, #MeToo "hysteria"

No, he just wanted everyone to know how he was the best catcher in baseball history when he was a workable backup at best. Every broadcast. He also crossed a line when he started telling Jays managers and brass how to do their jobs. Smart? Not really. A loud and obnoxious bro? Definitely!

Yet it was hysteria. A man could lose his career over a single allegation, with the burden of proof being unimportant. You always have to believe the victim, you know, without actually knowing who the victim really is.

You also misunderstand me. Men that were using their positions to force their will on women should face the consequences. It's unforgivable.

The way he often treated Jamie on camera is proof enough. The way he treated the folks behind the cameras and the way he acted when the cameras weren't recording was despicable. This info comes from someone who works behind the cameras.

I expect he would be very pleasant - charming even - at his charity golf tournament.

Good post, there is no excuse for harassment, but at the same time, its hard to take back a false allegation these days. A former male collegue was pursued by a female subordinate. When he made it clear he wasn't interested - she cried harassment. He was 28 and it completely ruined his life.

Would have been epic if he knocked himself out.

I can't see anyone offering Donaldson a contract. If he's healthy by year end, Jays may sign or qualify him and he stays one more year to try to get his payday.

Somebody will give him a year contract that will exceed the Jays QO (about $17M). He's not going to stay in Toronto, there's no place for him here anymore. Vlad G Jr is most likely next year's third baseman.

I agree. Maybe he comes back to the Jays as a DH. Get rid of Morales and see if Donaldson has any interest in being a full time DH.
