If Josh Allen doesn't end up making it, it won't be because they "ruined" him by playing him too early. Players who have "it" don't get ruined by playing too early. It might take a while, but if a player is good enough, he will figure it out eventually. If he doesn't, he never had "it" in the first place.
- buffalofan19

I'm not sure that's true anymore. Players don't get the luxury of starting for 4 years before they "get it".

one of my best friend is die hard ranger fan

he has already accepted the sabres will be better then them this season

Namestnikov and Vesey need to take huge steps and Hank needs to be a fringe Vezina finalist for them to have a shot IMO

At the playoffs?
I don’t share your negativity there
They aren’t a Cup challenger...
but i do think they MIGHT challenge for the playoffs

Thanks, the record does a little for me, the $2100 I won in the process does a lot more for me. I’m thinking Mexico.....

sucks
no time

fish business never slowed down this summer so I played once since I got back from NY 2 weeks ago

plus I just bought a house with 4 acres of land and a 1700 square foot basement for the fish expansion

plan on moving all the tanks in early november after shipping season

to sum it up, my golf game is pretty much on hold until Late Jan.

Best of luck with the new pad. At least you can play in January! Go sabres

Reports from variious reporters seem to suggest this as well.
If he wins, he wins...good on him.
Im ok letting him watch for tne season too.

Same ..

but if he's better than everyone else you have to give him the job that will look bad in the vets eyes

Wish the Sabres could grab him to skate next to Jack for next 10 years
- IonSabres

Might be able to get him in a couple years if he disappoints in Ny
He didn’t do much before last year,
when he was put on a line w Stamkos & Kucherov
Obviously the Rangers don’t have anyone of that talent level for him to play with...
so it’s very possible we see him regress & potentially become available at a decent price

Briere and Drury

Hasek was gone right?

Talent wise , I would take dahiln and eichel over Drury and briere.

Then we have mitts. Guhle, risto and even sam.

On paper were better with skill now vs. 2006

Just my opinion

Edit: ryan Miller, pommer and vanek too. All good players
Ruff was a much better coach

- Boss34

Dude... i love your optimism...
but we are nowhere close to as talented as the 2006 team
Not on paper, not in real life

eichel and dahlin are suppose to be so much better then the players on the post lockout team though

this can't be stated enough in the discussion how we are SUPPOSE to struggle

we have a franchise center, something we have not had since Patty

and we have a legit all world D man, something we have never had in our 48 years of existence

The 06 team was a Perfect Balance of Elite - good forwards

I would say both Drury and Danny both were franchise centers with us

Then you had Roy ,goose,TC

I don't think we will ever have that much talent ever imo

Absolutely agree.
only caveat is that he is young and has played on a much lzrger ice surface.
He will just need some adjustment time.
Apparently the sky is the limit for him.

Very exciting.

Add in a very gifted Stats at 2C and up and coming prospects...team is finally on the right track.

I could be wrong if we draft first overall and take Hughes

Early reports are the top 20 prospect list is loaded with forwards.
Hopdfully we get at least two swi gs in the top 20 to take them and find suitable wingers.

So if we did draft first overall would we be considered the new Oilers that everyone hates ?
