Okay. What's a "C' prospect? Timashov is probably a B, no?
- jmatchett383

Johnsson is a B prospect. Timashov is a C prospect.

How about a likely career AHLer

Trevor Moore, Mason Marchment come to mind. Timashov probably fits that bill too.

You didn't rate Timashov as an untouchable A+ prospect, yet talk about how terrible he is. Therefore, you are not really a Maple Leafs fan.

Honestly I think Johnsson, Timashov and a 1st is fair. Although I would rather have additional D depth to go with the Johnsson.

The only thing that I know about Timashov is that he put up decent number in the AHL last year and got his ass handed to him by Cole Bardeau.

Unless we get a D I'd rather not trade Johnnson for another forward.

I'd throw Timashov and the 1st away if one of the 2 big d prospects took their place.

As an off-season acquisition before training camp. Also, McDonaugh has been done for about 2 seasons.

He is has more vale than Simmonds....Especially when he had 2 years instead of 1.

high quality Rentals never get as much as people think.

1st, Grundstrom, Ennis(TDL deal) is what you are looking at. Sometimes there is a conditional 2nd/3rd thrown in their in case the player signs

Johnson is not a prospect anymore. Highly doubt he is involved.

Maybe...but as much as they don't want to lose him for nothing, the Flyers are under no obligation to move Simmonds.

No way we want Ennis. I will take Borgy instead.

Now that we are in civilized discussions, how about a Zaitsev for Gudas swap. We need more Russian on the backend and you don't like the contract.

I’m all for using the cap space this year, but not giving up a ton of prospects to do it.

You mean when Tomas Kaberle was there to hold the guy down for him and to hide behind when challenged?

I really, really, REALLY respected Domi for years, even during his NYR days. And when he beat up that Flyers fan in the box, dude had it coming. But that whole incident ruined him for me.

He didn't try to chop his head off.

But yes that incident was embarrassing.
