I'll admit, I do have high hopes Lilybust can turn into a decent top 4 defender. Although unlike the guy you compared him too, I'm hoping Liljegren learns how to not be a tire fire in his own end.

My point about the Flyers guy was just that I've seen other enthusiastic posters raving about how amazeballs all their prospects are and then listing like 15 guys when probably only the first three or four are recognized by anyone who isn't a huge fan of that particular team and for the express reason that most of the others just aren't that impressive.

Let's take solace in the fact that we have a winning Marlies team, a contending Leafs team, excellent communications top to bottom, and opportunity for prospects to succeed expectations.

Basically I'm not cringing anymore when project prospects enter our system; no more Luke Schenns, rushed into the league, Gardiner under Wilson, even Kadri was a question mark for a while there with the mixed messages they were sending him.
