A few threads back, Vic actually laid out his formula pretty spot on. I wish I saved that. |

With the caps signing wilson to that contract, that may be worse than orpik 1YR/$1M. - i'mjustafan
Easily worse than Orpik. I thought Orpik had a pretty nice cup run. |

The only thing I like about the Wilson contract is that it insures for the foreseeable future the pens will be playing against him multiple times in the regular season. Hopefully at one of those games the pens have developed a player of size and strength that decides Wilson needs to be ended. By ended I would like to mean terribly maimed to the point if not playing hockey and providing a spectacular life for himself by playing a game that’s fun as hell, but that would just be ruthless. He needs embaressed. The rules in this NHL protect TomWilson. Reaves could do it but he wanted a good contract. I want a Steve Downie type player that values the purity of hockey over his next contract to embaress Wilson. I would prefer it to be a penguin. |

The Pens have some, but they clearly don't play that kind of game. Oleksiak has the size and strength to knock him into tomorrow, but he doesn't. I'll be curious to see if ZAR dresses against them. |

You really dug yourself into a stupid hole with your arguments about the man advatange. - YzermanTheMan
How about you give it a go then.
If it's easy to score why isn't the scoring % greater than 50% on PP's?
It's an easy question, so far the 2 people that have responded haven't gone any where near the question.
Also, PK teams are concentrated more on defence than anything else, even with the man down, they make a concerted effort to not ge scored on.
So, give it a shot. |

Hey I'm still waiting.
The PP% aren't hypotheticals, they're well documented statistics that are real actual events. Pure statistics if you like that!
How about answering the question instead of throwing insults around.
You gave me scoring rates for 60. I asked if you used those rates who would win a game with 3 PP? Go on, what's the answer? (I'll give you a hint, break it downing to points/minute if you can).
In saying that, I only asked that question due to your response. But when was the last time anyone ever said, "well team 'a' is going well with their PP, it's up to 7.2/60"?
Or,
How about the scoring rates on PP's? Why aren't they over 50% if the man advantage is the advantage you say it is?
More shots= more goals right? |

That's the biggest problem. Unless they stop the instigator rules not only Wilson, but the Marchands of the league will keep doing poop that is totally against the spirit of the game. Bettman wants the big hits, he wants revenge & wants rivalry so Wilson will be allowed to keep hunting & trying to do damage. It will take a Stralman type (in the ECF), hit from each team to get the message across to Wilson. That will never happen unfortunately. A few concussions heading Wilsons way might also change his ways. |

It still irks me that no penguin just did anything after that. I wouldn’t want a cup if I had to let my teammates get taken out and laughed at in the process. (frank) that. He should have been swarmed. |

Yeah, but the Pens aren't alone in this. No team that faced the Caps really attempted any serious retribution against him. |

Your lack of basic comprehension explains much of what you write. You see things in black and white which a sign of low intelligence. I don't respond to your questions anymore because you simply don't understand my answers, or anyone else's for that matter.
I would not be shocked if you were a flat-earther. - Rinosaur
So why haven't you are least given it a shot to answer any of the questions I've raised? You haven't answered anything! It's the classic " i can't answer your question so I'll say I have & then tell you how stupid you are"!
It's so easy to throw insults around to try & deflect that you aren't answering anything.
You have no idea what you are talking about above, no idea of how intelligent I am, nor what I comprehend & dont. I've asked very simple questions & supported my arguement. All I've seen in return is a ridiculous points/60 & insults.
So, if you are so knowledgable, explain it to me by answering the very basic & simple questions I have put forward.
I'm talking hockey, you're talking from the gutter.
So if being on the PP is such an advantage & seen as easier to score, why do the PP scoring % show a minority & not a majority that would reflect that it's so much easier? I gave 30% as a number although the reality is numbers are much less?
Some games even have PP without goals, but EV scoring is 5 or 6??? Wow!
I'll go as far to say some rules are there to help scoring, but that's beside the point. Do you want the scoring % for each team to help you?
As I thought, the guy calling people retards won't answer the question! See how you go. |

People answer your questions all the time. They just don't agree with you and you can't understand that, so you keep saying they don't answer your questions. - Rinosaur
Show me where my question about PP's has been answered? Show me.
It should be easy enough, it's only 2 pages? Please, go ahead & make my day!
Where is the answer to the 30% minority question?
Where is the answer to the question using that individual that calls people rêtards data? Remember, 3 PP's using the points data provided? I even gave you a hint on that - but it won't be the answer you want (I did the math)..
Come on stay on topic, don't digress or deflect. Show me.
See if you just keep putting down & saying you've answered the question when in fact you havent' people get sick of reading it & then just say leave it alone. Then you go onto the next thread saying "(frank) man, we answered your questions, you are just stupid". When in fact you didn't. You wouldn't. You refused to. But still you want to continue like you did.
I really hope you don't act like this interacting with people when they are looking at you. Or do you go & tell people how right you are, how good you are & tell them what a stupid person you dealt with today? I actually think you might just do that!
So let's put this to bed & show me where these answers are?
I can't wait. |

Don't be afraid, bring the quote over. Anything else is just deflection.
Where is the answer to the 30% question?
Where is the answer to the question relating to the data that was provided as a response - you know, the points per 60? |
