Why cause he doesn't fight? - Feds91Stammer
No, because he shies away from contact when he knows that the player can brace himself and/or hit back. |

I would gladly take the Islanders 4th line over whatever the Pens fourth line will be. |

Clearly the game is only played at even strength. I bet they wish they had Connor Sheary instead. - madmike71

There's picking your spots and there's being a guy who's terrified of physical contact unless you can catch the guy unaware.
I'm not saying he needs to be Zac Rinaldo or Tom Wilson running around and taking himself out of position to try to injure players every chance he gets, but if you're gonna "Kronwall" people, I'd expect you to not be so terrified of physical contact in every other instance. |

Nhl hockey is pretty simple. If you don’t want to fight don’t go out of your way go to blindside hit someone in the head. If you want to blindside hit someone in the head then you should at least not stand behind the linesman when the dudes friends want to beat the poop out of you. That’s just cowardly and embarrassing. |

He has averaged over 1 hit per game his entire career so I'm not sure how he is terrified of physical contact. |

Yes, he also lightly rubs players out in the d-zone from time to time. Sorry I have to clarify. |

No, but he's also not known primarily for his thundering hits, either. |

I would say that when people think of Kronwall, they probably think about his "Kronwalled" hits, as that's his claim to fame. Or his lousy d-zone play, one of the two. |

Yes, exactly. Not many people sit there and watch Red Wings games because we have our own fan loyalties. So when most people hear "Kronwall" they think of his big hits. |

No but production is more valuable at 5v5 since it is more difficult than PP situations. |
