Yeah, great add. Their bench was leaving a ton to be desired at the plate. Now they have some real options to work with. Cabrera rakes at CBP too. And he is a switch hitter to boot I believe?

Will be interesting to see if they still try to go after Curtis Granderson for additional bench depth. I can't imagine he'd cost very much.

Kapanen is NHL ready now and has more upside than he has shown on the deep Toronto team, plus he could help our PK. Liljegren is insurance. He is almost as far along in development as Myers, and we really need a RHD top 4 guy to pan out. Two chances are better than one.

Haven’t read much about that specific Tavares crowd in here. Much of the debate was if the flyers should even have interest in him, most fans in here I believe would have passed on him but apparently the flyers disagreed with that

I like the move. Opens up a spot on the 40 man roster next year and they got a solid offensive piece that they can slot at multiple positions.

6 years for Tom Wilson. Cap hit isn't terrible but the years seems a little excessive. Then again he's only 24.
