I think you are joking but if you followed him on Twitter he does care . He got a boner the other day saying he can't wait to see Quinn Hughes play and he also said he is really looking forward to seeing Jake this year

Another note regarding this, I'm of the opinion FA thinks the Canucks are closer to being good than they actually are. To me he looks like he thinks all these kids can step in and be as good as Boeser right outta the hop. It doesn't work that way!

Even if Pettersson has a fantastic year (which I think he will) there's still no discernible makings of a full top six, or any top four dmen (yet), there's a lot of holes to fix and their drafting hasn't been good enough to make that happen in a short period of time.

So the owner tweets that he’s hiring a new president and the same day the GM says that the owner isn’t hiring one?

What an organization this is

This is a problem for Canuck fans as we're in for a long rough road if they start trading picks and prospects to be more competitive right now. They tried it a few times already and failed miserably.

It's not about Linden quitting, it's about the aftermath of what's about to happen. Or what "I" think is gonna happen.

Someone has to fill in for Linden's contradicting quotes.

It doesn’t hurt.

But there are a lot of retirees up here, so maybe it is senility.

Fixed for lefty. Recency bias causes him to look better then he is. I like vantel and think he's doing a better job recently. But I also think trevor should have been allowed to finish his rebuild because aquaman is a Controlling Underhanded Narcistic Twat.

I think you're underestimating Beagle's contribution.

they'll finish 6th last instead of dead last and draft more Virtanen's instead of Dahlin's

It’s just sad that a guy with as much front office experience as Benning is still “learning”

It doesn't matter how much experience Benning has, he's just in over his head/

He totally thinks this, as reported by several top media guys.....FA is the source of everything that's wrong with the organization.

I don't Richard, FA thinks they're close. Injury luck etc... was the main factor. TL willbe up and smelled the fire burning. Wanted to eat salary to make trades as well as taking on bad contracts. FA sees that as losing straight up cash.

They are speculating . Half the media would be out of work if they didn't incite mad panic.

For the last two years the team has been heading in the right direction you have said so yourself more than a few times , now today everything is a mess.

Linden has been pushed to the sides for months and he finally said enough. The writing was on the wall for Linden foe a while now

I'm neither right or left, I simply subscribe to ideas and principles I believe are in the best interest of the organization. Same as when I vote provincially or federally. I've never voted NDP but I have voted for both major political parties.

No ones speculating, it's the plain truth, and yes they're on a good path, the problem lies with the notion they can somehow shortcut this....with Benning in charge. That's the issue.

When a media guy like Brian Burke goes on air to say someone working in the Canucks organization told him this two weeks ago (Linden leaving) and there's some serious philosophical differences over where the team is and where they're headed, it's not speculation, it's the truth.

It's a mess if they change direction to indulge FA.
