He argument is that Jake is overrated because he doesn't have the accolades of someone like G or Patrick Kane. He's saying because he's not a superstar that he's overrated. I'm saying that's not how a players level of rating should be defined. Noone considers him to be in that echelon of players. When people say he's overrated because of his liability in his own zone, low goal totals,and occasional lapse of judgement I'm willing to listen to that argument. He doesn't put forward an argument to why he's overrated. He's just saying he's not an all world player and thus overrated. I guess that could be the case if someone thought Jake should be as good as Kane or Malkin or whoever, but I seriously doubt anyone here does.

Jake has silk legs and stone hands. Can you imagine Jake with Zherdev hands?

He is 16th in the league in points with 436 since joining the Flyers. Flyers are getting there monies worth out of the guy. He is a point producer and that's what I expect from him. What is he not doing that you expect him to do?
