i'm about 4 hours in at this point.

the cinematics and story so far are very well done. i enjoy that you can basically go do whatever you want at any given time. it's obviously a game that takes hours upon hours of delving into.

all of that being said, the combat mechanics are horrible and the item management is confusing and unnecessarily complicated. i'm going to continue to play because i'm beginning to get invested in the actual story but, mechanically, there is a lot left to be desired. Skyrim(with mods) > Witcher and it really isn't close.

Agreed. Also I would have to guess they never played the first two Witchers...they would be in heaven if they knew how those controls were like.

As far as inventory goes yeah it's pretty clunky but tbh I think they make the best of it with all the different potions and oils and stuff. At least it's just drag and drop

If you play on PC, there's a great UI/Inventory mod that makes it look like they showed it at E3.
