To be fair, you have to have a very high IQ to understand Rick and Morty. The humour is extremely subtle, and without a solid grasp of theoretical physics most of the jokes will go over a typical viewer's head. There's also Rick's nihilistic outlook, which is deftly woven into his characterisation- his personal philosophy draws heavily from Narodnaya Volya literature, for instance. The fans understand this stuff; they have the intellectual capacity to truly appreciate the depths of these jokes, to realise that they're not just funny- they say something deep about LIFE. As a consequence people who dislike Rick & Morty truly ARE idiots- of course they wouldn't appreciate, for instance, the humour in Rick's existential catchphrase "Wubba Lubba Dub Dub," which itself is a cryptic reference to Turgenev's Russian epic Fathers and Sons. I'm smirking right now just imagining one of those addlepated simpletons scratching their heads in confusion as Dan Harmon's genius wit unfolds itself on their television screens. What fools.. how I pity them. 😂

And yes, by the way, i DO have a Rick & Morty tattoo. And no, you cannot see it. It's for the ladies' eyes only- and even then they have to demonstrate that they're within 5 IQ points of my own (preferably lower) beforehand. Nothin personnel kid 😎

So are you saying my IQ is not ample enough to enjoy the show?

Do you ever take stances that can be either proven or disproven?

Again I don't have an answer for the what if.

This is what I do know:
With Schenn: The Flyers production was 211, 212, 212 for the last 3 years he played for them.
Without Schenn: The team production increased to 249.

- Glak18

Your dodging the question that you very well know the answer to.

Schenn had many years to secure a top 6 spot and could not consistently secure one moving around the lineup. If he could, he would of stayed and been a productive player for the FLYERS.

- Glak18

That's false. Schenn certainly played with different linemates but in 15/16, Schenn was 5th among Flyers forwards in EV TOI and 3rd in PP TOI. IN 16/17 Schenn was again 5th among Flyer forwards in EV TOI and tied for first among Flyer forwards in PP TOI.

1st year without Schenn: Production rose throughout the lineup, career years by Giroux, Voracek, Couturier and Konecny (not including defensemen).

Draw your own conclusion.

- Glak18

Production rose because of those career years. Neither of those players were the players that replaced Schenn in the lineup.

Yes, yes it is. Stating Schenn would of improved production because...."you just know" is exactly a what if scenario.

- Glak18

No it's not a what if. We can simply look at Schenn's historic production especially the last two seasons and barring an injury and missing significant time, we have a pretty good idea of what Schenn would produce offensively.

I guess we will. The criteria of replacing a player production has the following: Same position, same line(s) and meeting or exceeding the players production from the previous year. Do they have to have the same haircut too?

- Glak18

There is no criteria. It's simply a simple equation of looking at a players normal level of production and comparing it to the players who actually replaced him.

But but but...Tavares doesn't play LW?

- Glak18

The leafs situation is completely different because they actually added a top offensive player to replace Bozak. We'll have to see who gets the ice time that JVR would have gotten.

JvR stated in his press conference that Toronto told him they would not be re-signing him or try 2 weeks before the signing deadline. They were able to, they chose not to before signing JT.

Irrelevant to this premise.

I am not budging from my facts and you will not budge from your whatever it is. The only way to settle it is to set a date for an arbitration hearing. See you there.

You can do whatever you want but we were getting along so well. I guess I'm not as easy to bully around than the other guy! If that's the road you want to take head on down it but if you do then I know what that says.

You know that was a joke, right?

How about this...what if I told you a joke and my joke was calling you a poop monster, but there was no proof I called you one, did I really call you a poop monster?

Oh there were days in the past I got MJL quite emotional, the discussions were like fist fights with words. I miss those days.
