I just don't think it's the smart move to move a 21 yr old or a 27 yr old when our 'championship window' starts in 2 seasons at earliest.

I would rather have 5 years of TK aged 23 for that timeframe as opposed to 5 years of 29 yr old Panarin.

I would not be upset with the deal, just I don't think it's the right move.

TK also will cost a fraction of what Panarin will want and is likely to only get better. Panarin may slightly improve, but he's just about at his peak (which, granted, is very good) and will likely be declining by the end of his next deal.
