Internet Pro Tip:
Did you know when you type a comment ANYWHERE on the internet, you have the option to read what you are about to post before you hit submit?
Also did you know once you hit submit you have the option to read what you posted again and edit it if you communicate like a gerbil running across a keyboard?
Proper communication is the most underutilized tool a person can take advantage of when in a discussion. Everyone knows what they are thinking, it is the person's sole responsibility to express themselves in a way others can understand their thought process. There is no excuse for bad communication, whether you are on a cell phone, in a hurry or even the obligatory "I don't care" excuse.
If you type like an idiot, most likely you think like an idiot.

Now we're reaching way out of scope and what is appropriate.
I honestly hadn’t given much thought on what the hold up might be on Hagg’s contract until yesterday.
So in Hexy’s presser he says that the they are negotiating Hagg’s contract for a term of two years. Then when asked about the term on Simmond’s contract, Hexy says he doesn’t discuss contract negotiations. So this means?
Also I don’t understand how qualifying offers work. I thought the players have past the deadline to sign them. But yesterday it was reported that Hagg could still sign the qualifying offer, which I assume is only one year.
Then I started thinking about why this is still up in the air and remembered all of Hagg’s healthy scratches at the end of last season and into the playoffs.

I read this as Hexy and Hagg's agent agree on a two year term and are hammering out the dollars. If Hagg isn't happy with the dollars he can sign the qualifying offer and do this again next year.

And Hagg is a UFA after next season? - NC Flyers Fan
Hagg is currently 23 years old, a player must be 27 years or older OR have at least 7 years experience in the NHL to become a UFA. The only other possible way Hagg could become a UFA is if the Flyers do not present him with a qualifying offer.

For the record, I don't really care if you or anyone thinks Jake, or G, or Jesus is overrated. I was just bored and nothing was happening in here. Unfortunately my slow time at work coincides with the mid summer hockey news doldrums. Just trying to keep myself entertained. - Fryman4
Nobody should care if I think or anyone else thinks a certain player is overrated but my god, these guys cry like they just finished watching Titanic every time I give my opinion. You admitted you left the post, while others pretend it was never there and I’m just stirring the pot.
Does anyone remember when Jeremy Roenick went live on nbc during the intermission of a game and said he didn’t feel like Steve Mason was good enough to take the Flyers to the promised land? Buckets and buckets and buckets were filled with Flyers fan tears that day but that’s the MO around here. Nobody admits their hand in an argument. Just easy to blame someone else. Was JR right? I loved Steve Mason and I believed in him but I never took offense to that comment and fast forward to today, JR was probably right.

So he is still eligible to sign this years qualifying offer?

Most Gm’s get caught with their foot in the mouth at times. Hexy included

Ever notice you always cry about YOUR opinion? Why is YOUR opinion more valid than someone else? Have you always been a self-absorbed crybaby?

Let me get this right. I cried because I said Jake Voracek is overrated?!
